The Cleveland Biomedical Trainee Alliance (CBTA) will host the 2024 Networking Day Wednesday, March 6, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Tinkham Veale University Center ballroom.
This event is open to all graduate-, professional- and postdoctoral-level trainees interested in networking with industry and other career paths. A follow up to the 2023 Professional Development Conference in October, the 2024 Networking Day will provide a space for trainees to practice their networking skills to interact with a variety of industry representatives in the form of presentations, roundtables and open meeting sessions.
Attendees will learn about career options, explore job opportunities and meet experts from a variety of industry fields.
More details will be available soon, but the general schedule will be as follows:
- 11 a.m. to noon: Lunch provided
- Noon to 2:30 p.m.: Industry presentations, career roundtables, one-on-one networking (concurrent)
- 2:40 to 3:40 p.m.: Industry career panel
- 3:50 to 4:50 p.m.: Partner institution leaders panel
This event will be held in collaboration among Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine Graduate Education Office, Ohio Life Sciences, Cleveland Clinic Lerner Trainee Association, CWRU Biomedical Engineering Graduate Student Association, CWRU Biomedical Graduate Student Organization, CWRU Postdoc Association and the Cleveland State University Association of Biomedical and Chemical Engineers.
