In collaboration with Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine’s Graduate Education Office, the Lerner Trainee Association, the Biomedical Engineering Graduate Student Association and Association of Biomedical and Chemical Engineers will host the Cleveland Biomedical Trainee Alliance 2023 Professional Development Conference.
This new, multi-day conference, held Oct. 19–20, will focus on providing resources for trainees to develop themselves for their future careers.
There will be panels of multidisciplinary experts, hands-on workshops with experts in resumes, CVs and LinkedIn, sessions on topics ranging from scientific writing to mentor/mentee communication, and more. Following the first two days of training, there will be a career networking session and an additional career-focused panel Nov. 10. This is an opportunity to meet and network with companies that are interested in hiring graduate students and postdocs.
Register to participate in the conference.
During the registration process, you will be directed to a form that will enable you to personalize your itinerary for the conference to fit your needs and schedule constraints (there will be a variety of concurrent sessions and appointments available to choose from on a first-come, first-served basis).
Due to generous supporters, access to the plethora of resources at the conference will be available for a general trainee admission fee of $10, which will cover the primary sessions listed for each day.
This event is open to all trainees interested in furthering professional development, regardless of discipline.
