Classics students and faculty members attend and present at 102nd Annual Meeting of the Ohio Classical Conference

Case Western Reserve University faculty and students in the Department of Classics at the College of Arts and Sciences recently attended the 102nd Annual Meeting of the Ohio Classical Conference Columbus Academy in Gahanna, Ohio.

During this two-day event, faculty and students in the fields of Greek, Latin and classical civilization come together from across the state of Ohio. 

Timothy Wutrich, senior instructor of classics, is president of the Ohio Classical Conference.

CWRU’s contingent at the meeting included the following presenters:

  • Everett Beek, adjunct assistant professor of classics;
  • Cason Willman, a fourth-year studying classics;
  • Silvana Cantelmi, a fourth-year student classics/world literature; and 
  • Claudia Haines, an art history doctoral student.
