Ram Krishna Mazumder, a PhD candidate in the Department of Civil Engineering, received the Utility Engineering & Surveying Institute of American Society of Civil Engineers student scholarship for attending Pipelines 2019 conference July 21–24 in Nashville.
Ram’s research focuses on risk and reliability analysis of water infrastructure. He aims to develop a decision support framework that will guide stakeholders to make risk-informed decisions and prioritize investment in mitigation strategies for critical civil infrastructure systems.
