On Monday, March 25, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room of Stephanie Tubbs Jones Residence Hall, the Center for Civic Engagement & Learning Student Executive Council will host a panel discussion open to the CWRU community, titled “Civic Engagement In and Out of the Classroom.”
Faculty and staff members representing different disciplines will share with students how they are civically engaged outside of campus. Panelists will be:
- Ayesha Bell Hardaway, assistant professor, School of Law
- Jim McGuffin-Cawley, the Arthur S. Holden Professor of Engineering, Case School of Engineering
- David Miller, associate professor, Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences
- Lou Stark, vice president of Student Affairs
It also will be a networking opportunity for students to meet the panelists and learn how they apply their civic engagement experiences to their work at CWRU. Dinner will be provided.
