Area leaders, law alumni to discuss “Positioning Cuyahoga County for Recovery”

The School of Law will host an Alumni Weekend Panel Oct. 15 on “Moving Forward: Positioning Cuyahoga County for Recovery.” The panel of experts, all School of Law alumni from the class of 1976, will discuss recent dramatic and positive changes in the county government, as well as consider how lessons learned, creativity and commitment can guide future progress. Panelists are Ann Rowland, assistant U.S. attorney in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Ohio; Judith H. Rawson, past mayor of Shaker Heights; and Robert G. McCreary III, founder and chairman of CapitalWorks LLC. Kenneth Margolis, professor of law and associate dean for experiential education, will moderate the panel.

The panel will be held Oct. 15 from 10:30 a.m. to noon in Moot Courtroom (A59). A breakfast will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., with a lunch buffet following the event from noon to 1 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
