City Club @ Happy Dog: “Understanding the Executive Order on Immigration”

The next City Club @ Happy Dog event will address President Donald Trump’s executive order “Protecting the Nation From Foreign Terrorist Entry Into the United States.”

A panel discussion, titled “Understanding the Executive Order on Immigration,” will feature two local legal scholars who will talk about the constitutional and legal implications of the president’s order and the responses it has engendered.

The scholars are:

  • Jonathan H. Adler, the Johan Verheij Memorial Professor of Law and director, Center for Business Law and Regulation at the School of Law; and
  • Susan J. Becker, general counsel of the ACLU of Ohio.

This free discussion will be held Wednesday, Feb. 1, at 7:30 p.m. at Happy Dog at the Euclid Tavern (11625 Euclid Ave.).
