CIO Sue Workman pens piece on mixed-reality teaching

Vice President of University Technology and Chief Information Officer Sue Workman wrote a piece titled “Mixed reality: a revolutionary breakthrough in teaching and learning” for EDUCAUSE Review.

The article examines how rapidly evolving augmented reality technology creates opportunities for innovation in education. She supports her argument by explaining Case Western Reserve University and Cleveland Clinic’s HoloAnatomy curriculum with the Microsoft HoloLens, as well as the teaching and learning breakthroughs that have occurred in other disciplines.
