The Choose Ohio First Scholarship Program will hold a poster conference on Sunday, April 12, from noon to 4 p.m. at Tinkham Veale University Center.
The program provides state-funded scholarships to STEMM majors, with the goal of keeping Ohio students in Ohio for their education and for their post-graduation careers.
Choose Ohio First Scholars participate in a series of educational and mentoring events throughout the year, culminating with a poster conference to highlight projects that scholars have undertaken.
About 300 students from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland State University, Cuyahoga Community College, Kent State University and Youngstown State University will have more than 100 poster presentations at the conference.
