The Choices Fair provides information about majors, minors and co-curricular opportunities for first-year students and those exploring their educational options.
The Office of Undergraduate Studies will host the annual Choices Fair Friday, Oct. 13, from 12:45 to 2 p.m. at the Veale Convocation, Recreation and Athletic Center.
The fair is an opportunity for students to learn about the more than 90 undergraduate majors and minors the university offers. Faculty representatives from every academic department will be on hand to answer questions.
Attendees also will have a chance to discover co-curricular opportunities such as study abroad, undergraduate research and experiential learning from representatives of various campus offices as well as involvement opportunities from student organizations.
First-year students are expected to attend as part of their SAGES First Seminar. Undeclared upperclass students also are encouraged to attend.
The Choices Fair kicks off a series of information sessions and events hosted by academic departments and student organizations throughout October and November. These events are designed to help connect students with faculty and fellow students in their areas of study. Students will receive a full schedule of events at the Choices Fair and can view the complete schedule on the Undergraduate Studies website.
