The Professional Development Center (PDC) aims to provide Case Western Reserve University employees with comprehensive, high-quality learning and development resources that advance the performance of the individual and the university. The center’s team is available to help staff members achieve their professional development goals.
As the fall semester is winding down, fewer than 10 training sessions remain before spring. View the calendar of available sessions for more information. Register for sessions in CampusGroups on the HR Professional Development Center page.
Those interested in earning an Employee Supervision Certificate are encouraged to review the program requirements. Current participants are reminded that all program requirements must be completed within three semesters. Those who are hoping to complete their certificate in 2023 are encouraged to register for some of our remaining sessions.
In addition to this, Career Development Consultations run all year long. These sessions allow staff members to work with the career development manager in a one-on-one capacity on a variety of topics. Take this opportunity for a confidential meeting on things like preparing for a difficult conversation, performance evaluation or self-assessment, working on skills such as time management or organization, and more.
