Housing conditions may affect how well children do in school
The Plain Dealer: Claudia Coulton and Robert Fischer, co-directors of the Center on Urban Poverty and Community Development, were awarded a two-year, $300,000 grant from the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation to research how neighborhood conditions affect academic performance in children.
