The Center for International Affairs will launch the 2015-2016 Global Talk Series with “Say My Name,” a Chinese name pronunciation workshop, Thursday, Aug. 20, from noon to 1:30 p.m. in Nord Hall, Room 356.
This workshop is designed to provide faculty and staff with tips on Chinese character pronunciation. Attendees are encouraged to bring their class roster and learn how to correctly pronounce students’ names.
The Global Talk Series was created in order to provide Case Western Reserve University faculty and staff with support, guidance and information regarding international programs, research and activities. The center continually monitors international programming trends and best practices in order to assist faculty and staff with integrating international dimensions into all facets of CWRU.
More information about future topics in the 2015-2016 Series is available in this PDF download.
