Center for Computational Imaging and Personalized Diagnostics’s Catherine Jayapandian wins award from Neptune Kidney Consortium

Catherine Jayapandian, senior research associate in the Center for Computational Imaging and Personalized Diagnostics (CCIPD), was awarded a one-year $57,500 Career Enhancement Award from the Neptune Kidney Consortium.

Jayapandian received the award for her project titled “Computational Pathology-based Prognostic Predictor of Outcome for FSGS.” She will be co-mentored by Anant Madabhushi, director of the CCIPD, and John Sedor, nephrologist at Cleveland Clinics’s Glickman Urological and Kidney Institute.

The Nephrotic Syndrome Study Network (NEPTUNE) is a collaborative investigational infrastructure of 23 sites across North America for conducting research on a group of rare kidney diseases presenting as Nephrotic Syndrome.
