Center for Computational Imaging and Personalized Diagnostics researchers awarded patent

Anant Madabhushi, the F. Alex Nason Professor II of Biomedical Engineering and director of the Center for Computational Imaging and Personalized Diagnostics, and Andrew Janowczyk, assistant professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, along with their collaborators, were awarded a patent by the U.S. government on Jan. 7. The computational pathology patent is: “Histomorphometric classifier to predict cardiac failure from whole-slide hematoxylin and eosin stained images.”
