Help the Center for International Affairs celebrate the Lunar New Year across campus.
Throughout the week of Feb. 8, the center will distribute hundreds of red envelopes. Before they can be distributed, the envelopes must be stuffed with money, coins and hand-made fortunes.
The center will host two events this week to prepare them:
- Tuesday, Feb. 2, from 1 to 3 p.m. in Sears Building, Room 464
- Thursday, Feb. 4, from 1 to 3 p.m. in Tomlinson Hall lobby
Participants also will have the opportunity to learn or teach others how to create simple calligraphy characters to express well wishes and good fortune. Brushes, ink and envelopes will be provided.
