Celebrate the life of Martin Luther King Jr. with poetry and food

Food for the Soul event flyerThe annual Food for the Soul Celebration will be held Friday, Feb. 5, at 12:30 p.m. in the Thwing Center atrium.

The event will celebrate the life of Martin Luther King Jr. with readings in poetry and prose, from members of the university community. This year, readers will have to opportunity to consider current events in the city and nation in their performances.

Lunch will be provided by a local soul food caterer, Hot Sauce Williams, on a first come, first served basis.
