Celebrate the life and art of Anita Rogoff, professor emerita of art, on Sunday, April 12, from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Art Studio of Case Western Reserve University.
Rogoff, an alumna of Cleveland Institute of Art, was active in developing art curriculum for school systems, articles in professional journals and curriculum models. She was the former director of art education/Art Studio at Case Western Reserve University.
Rogoff’s fine line ink drawings were in great demand, as she was a nationally known dictionary illustrator. Her art had been exhibited in the Cleveland Museum of Art May Show and many regional juried exhibitions.
Some of Rogoff’s unframed work will be on display and for sale. The proceeds from the event will go to a fund in Rogoff’s name to support art education.
Light refreshments will be served at the event.
