Celebrate the 50th anniversary of Earth Day with an at-home activity

Because our campus community won’t physically be together to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Earth Day on April 22, the Office of Energy & Sustainability (with help from students and partners) has put together a bingo game to play at home.

Download the bingo card with directions from the Office of Energy and Sustainability website.

Bingo squares all contain hyperlinks with information and include actions like learning about the University Farm, watching a TED talk on climate change solutions, pledging to avoid single-use plastics, reading articles, getting outside and learning the latest on recycling. Participants are encouraged to share their progress and celebrations on Instagram with #cwruearthday2020.

Follow the Office on Instagram for highlights during Earth Week.

Completed bingo cards (five squares in a row) should be emailed to sustainability@case.edu by April 30. Three grand prizes will be picked at random from all emailed cards. Additionally, all Instagram posts made by end of the day Thursday, April 30, with the #cwruearthday2020 hashtag will be entered into a drawing to win one of 10 prizes.
