National Midwifery Week, created by American College of Nurse-Midwives to celebrate and recognize its members, is celebrated Oct. 6-12.

Beginning at 11 a.m., the cupcakes will be given away by Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing students in the Nurse Midwifery Education Program at the corner of Adelbert Road and Euclid Avenue. The first 1,000 people to stop by will receive a cupcake made by Main Street Cupcakes in Rocky River.
