On Wednesday, Oct. 16, Alpha Phi will celebrate Love Your Body Day, a national event sponsored by the National Organization for Women to promote positive body image and celebrate self-confidence.
The Love Your Body campaign challenges the message that a woman’s value is best measured through her willingness and ability to embody current beauty standards.
The sisters of Alpha Phi will be in Nord Atrium from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 16, with free treats, a button-maker and other fun activities to promote the campaign and encourage positive body image and self-confidence on campus.
All members of the campus community are encouraged to stop by and join in on the celebration.
