All students are invited to celebrate Eid Al-Adha at the Muslim Student Association’s annual Fast-A-Thon event on Saturday, Oct. 4, at 6:30 p.m. in Thwing Center ballroom. The event will feature special guest speaker Hanif J. Williams, a prominent motivational speaker who is a devout Muslim.
Tickets, along with baked goods, can be purchased in Nord Hall atrium today.
In the spirit of the fasting tradition, the Muslim Student Association invites students to fast for a day, from sunrise to sunset. If interested in fasting, be sure to drink plenty of fluids and eat filling foods prior to the fast.
Tickets are $5 for undergraduate students and $7 for all others. All proceeds from the fundraiser will go to the Cleveland Food Bank to battle local hunger and poverty issues.
