Doan Brook/Rockefeller Park clean-up event

To celebrate Earth Day, the Student Sustainability Council at Case Western Reserve University, in partnership with Doan Brook Watershed Partnership, will host a clean-up event Saturday, April 9, from 12:30 to 3 p.m.

All faculty, staff, students and community members are invited to show the Doan Brook and Rockefeller Park some love by pulling trash, debris, and invasive vegetation from the stream corridor and surrounding trails and roadways.

Sign-in/registration will begin at 12:30 p.m. Volunteers will meet at the Rockefeller Park Lagoon gazebo in University Circle near Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and East 105th Street. Gloves and trash bags will be provided. Warm clothing is recommended.

Additional parking will be available near the tennis courts (entrance off E. 105th Street).

Students can register by signing up using this Google form. Faculty, staff, and other interested community members should visit the Doan Brook Watershed Partnership website to register.
