La Alianza, a Hispanic/Latino cultural organization, will host its annual El Baile de los Muertos, on Friday, Nov. 1, from 9:15 to 11:15 p.m. in the Leutner Commons DOSA room. Tickets are $3 for Case Western Reserve University students and $5 for general admission.
El Baile de los Muertos (the dance of the dead) celebrates Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), a Mexican tradition honoring loved ones and ancestors who have passed away. The event will feature different styles of Latin American dancing and music, as wellas many aspects of a traditional Día de los Muertos celebration.
Free food will be provided and costumes are encouraged. The proceeds for the event will go to Lincoln West High School.
