Celebrate commencement with yard signs, Facebook frames, GIFs, Instagram stickers and more

As one of the biggest milestones for the Class of 2020 approaches, we’re filled with mixed emotions—excitement for our grads and sadness that we cannot all be together, in-person, celebrating this day from the commencement stage.

But, that won’t stop us from celebrating. Make no mistake—our virtual graduation ceremonies on Sunday, May 17, are designed to celebrate each and every one of you.

And to make your moment special, we’ve designed a package of digital content we hope you’ll use—and share—using #CWRUGrad2020 across social media. (Make sure to tag CWRU on: Facebook, Instagram/Stories and Twitter, so we can share your celebratory posts.)

Yard signs

Members of the community are invited to make their own yard signs to celebrate this accomplishment at home and share the milestone in their community. Download yard sign templates. For help with the templates, email Hayley Milloy at hayley.milloy@case.edu.

Student/parent/family Facebook frames

CWRU grads, their parents and families can celebrate this milestone by adding a CWRU-themed frame to their current Facebook profile pics.

To access the frames, go to your Facebook profile, click on your profile picture, select “Add Frame” and search for “CWRU” or “CwruGrad2020.” There are over 15 frames to choose from.

A paper grad cap

Due to this year’s circumstances, you may or may not have ordered a grad cap and regalia. We know it’s nowhere near the same, but we wanted to offer you a grad cap you can decorate and personalize with all of the same inspiring, strong and brilliant graduation messages your peers before you shared during graduation. Download your paper grad cap, create your design, take a photo and share it with us via social media.

Graduation GIFs

You can find GIFs via Giphy.

Or, download them straight to your phone, where you can use them anywhere GIFs are supported—including Instagram stories. See “Instagram Stickers” to discover how you can add them to your own stories.

Instagram fill-in-the-blank

Download this Instagram Story template, upload it your Instagram Story, fill In the blanks, tag @cwru and add #CWRUGrad2020.
