CaseWireless to undergo upgrade; some devices to require authentication certificate to connect

CaseWireless will be upgraded to provide improved wireless service Sunday, Sept. 9. As part of the upgrade, connecting to CaseWireless will prompt some devices—mainly Apple products using the iOS operating system—to accept an authentication certificate. It is a safe and necessary procedure to click “Trust” on the certificate screen to continue on and use CaseWireless.

If the certificate is not accepted, the network will default to CaseGuest when on campus, and a choice of any other identified networks in the area when off campus.

The certificate prompt will appear with each subsequent connection attempt to CaseWireless until the certificate is trusted/accepted. Authentication certificate acceptance is required only once for each device.
