CaseCores2020

Members of the Case Western Reserve University are invited to participate in CaseCores2020 today (April 28) to learn about core facilities and research infrastructure. This online program will be from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.; individuals can tune in as they wish.

The event will embrace the symposium’s original theme: “Stronger Together.”

Building on the first pillar of the university’s Strategic Plan, “Ignite Interdisciplinarity,” the program will feature a three-part presentation by:

  • Tim Beal, chair of the Department of Religious Studies and Florence Harkness Professor of Religion;
  • Burcu Gurkan, assistant professor of chemical engineering; and
  • Curtis Tatsuoka, associate professor of neurology.

The presenters will discuss their research and the role of research infrastructure in their work, followed by a moderated discussion.

Core facility managers, directors and administrators will also share content. This seminar will be the first in a summer-long series about core facility management and best practices.

Register for the session.
