CWRU still prizes research but seeks new renown for creating jobs

The Plain Dealer: There’s a new spirit of innovation on campus; rather than just funding research, there is a focus on turning classroom discoveries into job-creating businesses. “We do believe we have an important role in the region’s economy,” said President Barbara R. Snyder. “I do think that job creation is an area where we can make a difference, and we are trying to do that.” Other CWRU community members are highlighted: Bob Miller, Joe Jankowski, Gary Wnek, Jean Zhao and Justin Einstein.
