Small_image_FINALCase Footlighters will present Spring Awakening, directed by Tana Marquez, March 27-29.

Spring Awakening, based on the play by Frank Wedekind, is a rock musical that tells the coming of age stories of a group of teenagers in a small German town in the late 19th century. This show reveals the vulnerability and naiveté of young adults seeking truth, and it explores the harsh authoritative power adults have over children.

The show dates and times are:

  • Thursday, March 27, at 8:30 p.m.
  • Friday, March 28, at 8 p.m.
  • Saturday, March 29, at 8 p.m. and 11:59 p.m.

The performances will take place in Thwing Center ballroom. Tickets are $5 for undergraduates and $10 for members of the faculty and staff, graduate students and the general public.
