Case Western Reserve joins University of Pittsburgh in launching new materials research center
Crain’s Cleveland Business (subscription required): Roger French, the Kyocera Professor of Materials Science and Engineering at the Case School of Engineering, Laura Bruckman, associate research professor of materials science and engineering, and Jonathan Steirer, operations manager of the SDLE Research Center, talked about The Center for Materials Data Science for Reliability and Degradation, a $3 million center supported by a $1.5 million grant from the National Science Foundation, which aims to use cutting-edge data science and materials research to help companies make more reliable and durable products.
