Animal behavior expert Jonathan Balcombe will be on campus Monday, April 15, for a talk sponsored by The Cleveland Animal Rights Alliance (CARA) and Case Animal Rights and Ethics Society (CARES).
Balcombe is an advocate for animals and their living spaces. His best-selling books Pleasurable Kingdom and Second Nature, and his recently released pictorial book The Exultant Ark, present animals in a new light and look at a revolution in the human-animal relationship. A scientist and vegan, Balcombe will discuss timely issues, including climate change, biodiversity and personal health.
This lecture will take place in Thwing Center ballroom from 7 to 9 p.m. It is free and open to the public. Vegan snacks and beverages will be provided.
