Carillon concert to be held Sunday

University Circle is home to one of only 185 cast-bell carillons in North America. This Sunday hear a free afternoon carillon concert on the 15,000 lb. McGaffin Carillon’s 47 Dutch bronze bells. Guest carillonist, Michelle Lam from Michigan will present a concert inspired by and in tribute to Supreme Court Justice, Ruth Bader Ginsberg with music composed and arranged by women composers.

Bring a blanket or lawn chair, a picnic, and a friend and listen from the campus area on Bellflower Road. The concert is free and there is free parking in the Euclid Avenue lot in front of the tower.

The concert will be held Sunday, Sept. 19, at 4 p.m.
