Canvas to require two-factor authentication for Duo Security users

In an effort to increase security and better protect the data Case Western Reserve University users have in Canvas, everyone in the campus community who has registered for two-factor authentication with Duo Security will be required to use it to access Canvas beginning Jan. 7.

This additional layer of security will be required of all CWRU Duo users to access any Canvas pages, including those accessed via the Canvas Student and Canvas Teacher mobile apps.

CWRU users who are not currently registered for two-factor authentication will not be impacted by this change.
