[U]Tech is tasked with supporting the university’s education, research and day-to-day information technology functions, including information security, research computing and cyberinfrastructure, and teaching and learning technologies.
In its most recent progress report on its strategic plan, [U]Tech shared the following highlights about some of its key support:
- Service desk tickets: more than 40,000 emails, phone calls and live chats between July 2017 and April 2018
- CARE Center: almost 5,000 walk-in visits during the same time period.
- Software Center: more than 22,500 student downloads, most at no additional or a heavily discounted cost, between July 2016 and May 2018.
