Summer barbecues are an annual tradition designed to bring the campus community together with festive food and music. The barbecue season begins Wednesday, June 8, with an American Barbecue theme and music by acoustic guitarist Doug Wood. The barbecues run from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on the Case Quad every Wednesday through July 6 and feature changing menus and music. The events are open to the public.
This year, there is a new price structure. For $7.95, diners can have one entree and unlimited side dishes, including beverages and an ice cream novelty dessert; $8.95 includes unlimited entrees. Bottled water and sodas are also for sale for $1.50 each. Go online for the full menu and more information.
