Cambridge University Press publishes book by music’s Francesca Brittan

Cambridge University Press has published Associate Professor of Music Francesca Brittan’s book titled Music and Fantasy in the Age of Berlioz.

The book describes the wave of “fantastique” musical works published in France in the middle of the 19th century, including Berlioz’s 1830 Symphonie fantastique, as well as pieces by Liszt, Adam, Meyerbeer and others.
