Seeking participants for a study investigating musical pitch perception in singers of all abilities!
Who can participate? Anyone who:
• Is 18 years or older
• Speaks English as a first language
• Has ever sung in a choir or other singing group
What will you do?
1. An online questionnaire and pitch perception test (15–20 minutes)
2. Two in-person sessions for computer-based games and a sight-singing task, located in CWRU’s Haydn Hall (11118 Bellflower Rd., Cleveland, OH 44106). The first session will last approximately 45–60 minutes. The second session will last approximately 25–30 minutes.
What will you get?
• Entered into a drawing for a $25 gift card (minimum 1 in 20 chance).
• Personalized feedback that may help guide your musical growth.
If you are currently enrolled in a choir or other music course, neither your participation (or non-participation) nor your performance on study tasks will have any impact on your grade.
