Build Real-world Business Experience with Student-run Nonprofit Startup

Schools for Slowing the Spread Inc. (SSS) is a 501c3 nonprofit startup founded here at Case. With our roots in facemask fundraising events, we have since expanded to provide community-wide promotional material services to raise money for charitable causes. We are accepting new volunteers who are business-oriented and wish to develop any number of related skill sets through real-world experience with our organization: Including but not limited to account development/management, marketing, personnel management, organizational strategy, etc.

Volunteers need not have prior business experience but must demonstrate a desire to learn/improve upon skills. This is a predominantly remote volunteer opportunity so written communication skills are vital. Additionally, given the nature of these roles, these are long-term experiences and volunteers are expected to commit for at least one semester of availability. The weekly time commitment is 1-2hr./week plus 30-minute monthly team meetings (over zoom).

Those who are interested are encouraged to contact Nicholas Bank (nxb314@case.edu) to learn more about how to get involved!
