Three-part series to focus on ”The Five Languages of Apology”

Lisa Board-McShepard, training analyst and organizational development and learning/employee relations specialist in the Department of Human Resources, will facilitate “The Five Languages of Apology,” a three-part brown bag discussion. The series will be held July 9, July 23 and Aug. 6.

Based on the best-selling books, The Five Languages of Apology and When Sorry Isn’t Enough by Gary Chapman and Jennifer Thomas, the three-part series examines each of the five languages of apology and helps guide participants toward understanding their language as well as help enable them to better apologize to others in their language.

The first two sessions in the workshop, held July 9 and 23, will span two hours, from 2 to 4 p.m. The Aug. 6 session lasts three hours, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. All sessions will take place in Crawford Hall, Room 209.

Participants are invited to bring and enjoy their lunches.
