Considering taking a gap year after graduation to research, scribe, serve or intern before attending graduate school or entering the workforce? Consider attending a Zoom information session on how to take your career to the next level. “Bridging the Gap: Explore Gap Year Opportunities” will be held Friday, Nov. 5, from 12:45 to 2 p.m.
Students will hear tips from Post-Graduate Planning & Experiential Education about locating gap year opportunities, and then have a chance to learn about organizations of their choice through different breakout sessions.
Participating organizations include: ScribeAmerica, AmeriCorps Corps for Rural and Urban Success in Health, City Year, Teach For America, Cleveland Foundation Fellowship, Peace Corps, Northern Ohio Watershed Corps and Jesuit Volunteer Corps.
The Center for Civic Engagement & Learning (CCEL) student executive council, Post-Graduate Planning & Experiential Education and The Upperclass Experience are co-sponsoring this event.
