An article led by the computational team at Case Western Reserve University was nominated for the Lucien Levy Best Research Article Award by the American Journal of Neuroradiology.
The nominated article, titled “Computer-Extracted Texture Features to Distinguish Cerebral Radionecrosis from Recurrent Brain Tumors on Multiparametric MRI: A Feasibility Study,” was published in the November issue of American Journal of Neuroradiology. The article was identified as one of the most read articles published in the journal in 2016.
The study was led by Pallavi Tiwari, assistant professor of biomedical engineering, with co-authors Prateek Prasanna, Leo Wolansky, Mark Cohen, Ameya Nayate, Amit Gupta, Gagandeep Singh, K. Hattanpaa and Andrew Sloan. The senior authors include Lisa Rogers and Anant Madabhushi.
