“Birthing Beautiful Communities: An Exploration of Evidence-Based Birth Data on Improving African American Perinatal Outcomes and Why It Matters”

The Prevention Research Center for Healthy Neighborhoods will host a virtual talk titled “Birthing Beautiful Communities: An Exploration of Evidence-Based Birth Data on Improving African American Perinatal Outcomes and Why it Matters” on Wednesday, Oct. 11, from noon to 1 p.m. as part of its seminar series. 

The talk will be presented by Lindsey Lott, the development coordinator for Birthing Beautiful Communities, a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming lives and reducing Black mortality by matching women with a doula and a perinatal support team member from their neighborhood at no cost.
