HealthDay: A recent study found that Black Americans are more likely to have high blood pressure than individuals of other races. “Hypertension occurs earlier in life for African Americans compared to individuals of other ancestries,” said Xiaofeng Zhu, co-senior author of the study and professor of epidemiology and biostatistics.
