Your Apple Watch could soon tell you if you’ve got coronavirus
Wired: Colin Drummond, a professor of biomedical engineering and an associate professor of anesthesiology and perioperative medicine, commented on the notion that smart watches can determine—from symptoms detectable on a person’s wrist—a reliable diagnosis of a coronavirus. For now, the answer is unclear, said Drummond: “Certainly wearables are offering us insight into trends that evaded us before. But we haven’t quite parsed out the mosaic and the signs are incomplete.”
