Anant Madabhushi, the F. Alex Nason Professor II of biomedical engineering and director of the Center for Computational Imaging and Personalized Diagnostics, was invited to be a standing member of the National Institutes of Health Biodata Management and Analysis study section within the Center for Scientific Review. The four-year term will begin July 1.
The study section reviews grant applications concerned with computational methods for acquisition, management, querying, sharing and analysis of biological data. Areas of interest overlap with basic research in computer science, statistics, mathematics, computational biology and bioinformatics.
