Biomedical Engineering’s Anant Madabhushi named AIMBE fellow

Anant Madabhushi, professor and director of the Center for Computational Imaging and Personalized Diagnostics in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, was named a fellow of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE).

Madabhushi was nominated and elected for his contributions in the development of computational imaging algorithms for automated analysis and interpretation of medical imaging data.

The AIMBE College of Fellows is comprised of the top two percent of medical and biological engineers in the country, and fellows are regularly recognized for their contributions in teaching, research and innovation.

Madabhushi will be formally inducted at a ceremony held during the AIMBE’s Annual Meeting in the National Academy of Science in Washington, D.C., on March 15.
