Anant Madabhushi, director of the Center for Computational Imaging and Personalized Diagnostics, authored a paper published in the June/July issue of the journal Nature Reviews Drug Discovery. It is titled “Applications of machine learning in drug discovery and development.”
The paper focuses on a review of machine learning opportunities in all stages of drug discovery, including target validation, identification of prognostic biomarkers and analysis of digital pathology data in clinical trials. Nature Reviews Drug Discovery is one of the highest impact factor (IF) journals with a 2017 IF=54.49.
