Anant Madabhushi, the F. Alex Nason Professor II of biomedical engineering, and Rakesh Shiradkar, research assistant professor of biomedical engineering, were awarded a patent on Jan. 21, alongside their collaborator Soumya Ghose.
Their patent is titled “Predicting prostate cancer recurrence in pre-treatment prostate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) with combined tumor induced organ distension and tumor radiomics.”
