The Society for Experimental Biology and Medicine invited Arnold I. Caplan, professor of biology, to present the keynote lecture at its eighth International Experimental Biology and Medicine Conference, which was held in Memphis, Tennessee, April 29-May 1.
Caplan’s presentation, titled “The PAST, Current State and Future Directions of Regenerative Medicine: MSCs. The Management of Innate Regenerative Capacities,” highlighted research focused on regenerative medicine.
This was the first time the conference was held in the United States.
