Associate VP for Research Suzanne Rivera selected for national board of Council on Government Relations

Suzanne RiveraSuzanne Rivera, associate vice president for research, was selected to serve on the national board for the Council on Government Relations. Her term begins Aug. 1.

Created in 1948, the Council on Governmental Relations is an association of research universities involved in the development of all major financial and administrative aspects of federally funded research. It informs federal agencies about the impact of proposed regulations on colleges and universities and helps to develop policies and practices that fairly reflect the mutual interests and separate obligations of federal agencies and universities in research and graduate education.

Rivera also is an assistant professor of bioethics and pediatrics.
